We decided to look at how each of the U.S. states scored on the Pinkerton Crime Index, a technologically advanced platform powered by AI and frontier data science. We divided the states into four regions and categorized risk scores by crime type: total crime, property crime, and violent crime. A lower score means a lower crime risk. A higher score means a higher risk. This first set of crime risk snapshots highlights the Northwest region states and shows Idaho ranks the lowest in total crime risk relative to the national average. Way to go, Gem State.
