From the tropics to the mountains and vast grasslands, the island continent of Australia is not short of breathtaking natural landmarks. You could spend a lifetime traveling the country and still have more to see. While some are near urban centers, others are well off the beaten track in the middle of the outback, which, unfortunately, we could not include on our Pinkerton Crime Index risk snapshot—there’s simply not enough population to score the crime risk at places like Uluru, one of the country’s most distinctive landmarks.
