Pinkerton, the global, historic risk management agency, announced today that it has opened a branch office in Boca Raton, Fla. Pinkerton East Coast Region Vice President Stephen Ward made the announcement. Pinkerton’s new branch, which is located at 1900 NW Corporate Boulevard, is strategically positioned to oversee the Florida region, including the state’s major cities and the Caribbean Islands. The Boca Raton office, which is relocating from Hollywood, Fla., is one of 33 locations in the United States, and specializes in a wide range of risk management services, including corporate investigations, crisis management, employment screening, security and risk consulting and asset protection. In addition to implementing Pinkerton’s core services, the Boca Raton branch will also provide additional support to Pinkerton’s Employment Screening Headquarters, in Hunt Valley, MD.
“Boca Raton is home to a large talent pool of employment screening specialists,” said Jesse Berger, Pinkerton’s Vice President of Employment Screening. “Opening a location in the city will allow us to continue to attract the highest caliber professionals.”
Jose Lopez, who will oversee the day-to-day functions of the Boca Raton office, comes to Pinkerton as an extremely versatile and highly experienced licensed investigator. Lopez has more than 25 years of experience in the security industry, having served in the U.S. Navy, at the state level with the Justice Department of Puerto Rico, at the federal level as a special agent with the FBI and in private security, as a college professor and overseeing corporate investigations for organizations around the country. “Boca Raton’s proximity to the coast and ease of access to Florida’s major southern cities make it the ideal place for our newest branch office,” said Ward. “Moving further north while maintaining a presence in southern Florida will allow us to relocate closer to our clients.”
