Pinkerton, the global, historic risk management agency, announced today that it has opened its first office in Kansas City, MO. Pinkerton Central Region Vice President Ken Carter made the announcement. Pinkerton’s new branch, which will be its second office in Missouri, is located at 2345 Grand Boulevard, and is strategically positioned to serve as the company’s base of operations for much of the Great Plains.
Pinkerton’s Kansas City branch, which is one of 33 locations in the United States, specializes in security consulting and risk analysis, corporate investigations and protective services. Josh Zenger, director of operations, will oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the local branch. Zenger, who joined Pinkerton in April 2014, will also oversee company operations in Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Western Missouri and Western Iowa. A graduate of Kansas State University and the Defense Language Institute, Zenger served in the United States Army before transitioning to a consultant with the U.S. government. He has extensive experience launching corporate intelligence research and risk analyses. “Kansas City offers excellent connectivity and central location to the surrounding Great Plains states,” said Carter. “ Zenger’s expertise in security consulting, international intelligence, and political risk will make him and his team integral assets to our clients in the city and region.”
