Pinkerton, the world’s leading provider of comprehensive risk management services, announced today that it has opened an office in Philadelphia, PA. Pinkerton Vice President, East Coast USA Stephen Ward made the announcement. Pinkerton’s new branch, which will be its first office in Pennsylvania, is located at 1600 Market Street, Suite 1420 in Philadelphia. In the coming months, Pinkerton will look to add roughly five positions to their Philadelphia office. The branch is the latest of 32 locations in the United States, and specializes in executive protection, investigations and cyber surveillance, and risk assessment consulting.
Dave Campbell, director of operations, will oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the local branch. Campbell, who rejoined Pinkerton in September 2014 to open its latest Philadelphia branch, has over 20 years of experience in the risk management and security industry. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Campbell decided to jumpstart his career in the risk management and security industry with Pinkerton Korea. He first joined the company in 1995, and progressed to managing director, where he oversaw operations in South Korea and Japan until 2003. His extensive risk management specialties include supply chain security, anti-counterfeiting and intellectual property protection, executive protection and internal training for clients. “Philadelphia is home to a bustling pharmaceutical, health care and technology based-economy,” said Ward. “Opening a new branch here will allow us to keep a pulse on the latest, emerging trends in these industries for our clients and serve as an important sister office to our other east coast operations.”
