Pinkerton, a global provider of comprehensive risk management services, including security consulting and investigations, executive protection, employment screening, and protective intelligence, announced today that it has opened its first Canadian office in Toronto. Pinkerton President Jack Zahran made the announcement. The Toronto office is located at 265 Yorkland Blvd., which is situated on the outskirts of downtown Toronto. The new office will provide clients in the Canadian marketplace with Pinkerton’s full suite of risk management services and solutions, including risk assessment, risk profile analysis, due diligence, investigations, background screening, crisis management, intelligence services, protection services, security risk management and more, to protect their tangible and intangible assets.
“The opening of our Toronto office marks Pinkerton’s first permanent foray into the Canadian marketplace and further extends our global network of intelligence-gathering resources,” said Zahran. “We’re eager to bring our unique blend of holistic risk management services to Canadian organizations throughout Greater Toronto and beyond to help them analyze the risk landscape and implement strategic initiatives to prevent disruptions to business continuity.” Richard Thomas will serve as the operations manager of the Toronto office and oversee all operations throughout Canada. Prior to this position, Thomas was the senior manager of operations of the central region for ASAP Secured Inc. He previously served as the loss prevention investigator and manager for Hudson’s Bay Company, where he was recognized for, amongst other success, his fraud investigations, highest arrest record and highest dollar values recovered. Thomas earned his law degree from Conestoga College.
