Job Summary:

The Project Security Lead, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will partner with internal teams to focus on an engagement strategy for educating and enabling the business in the intellectual property protection space. The Lead is responsible for the execution and improvement of the current engagement strategy for new policies as well as threat awareness among employees and third parties. This role intersects consumer electronics, customer success management, research science, and security consulting with involvement in the exciting developments in consumer technology.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and update security policies, standards, and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  3. Lead efforts to implement changes to security policies, procedures, or technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  4. Maintain accurate records of security policy changes, communication efforts, and training sessions.
  5. Communicate security policies, procedures, and updates to all employees in a clear and accessible manner.
  6. Solicit feedback from employees regarding security policies and procedures and use this feedback to improve security practices.
  7. Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations to promote security awareness and understanding throughout the organization.
  8. Foster relationships with department heads, managers, and teams across the organization to understand their specific security needs and concerns.
  9. Act as a liaison between security teams and other departments to address security-related questions and provide guidance.
  10. Create change management plans that include communication strategies, training, and support resources.
  11. Develop and execute ongoing security awareness campaigns to promote a culture of security consciousness.
  12. Create engaging materials, such as newsletters, posters, and online resources, to reinforce security best practices.
  13. Analyze metrics and data to measure the effectiveness of security engagement initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  14. Generate reports for management outlining the status of security engagement initiatives and any relevant metrics.
  15. Serve as responsible steward of the client's Global Security program.
  16. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred with five years of consumer electronics, customer success management, research science, project management, and/or security consulting experience within a global environment and various business cultures.   • Knowledge of change management planning, strategies, and execution.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent.
  • Utilize emotional intelligence to communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse conflicts.
  • Understanding of policy development and/or administration.
  • Able to facilitate effective training across varying audience types and learning styles.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to effectively promote a security-conscious culture throughout the organization.
  • Able to work in ambiguous situations with little direction, documenting and providing an effective point of view regarding solutions.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
