Job Summary:
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Specialist, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will conduct research and open-source analysis to vet potential and/or actual current world events and correlate those impacts on the client's sites. This role also also assists with badging operations including access requests and deletions, troubleshooting profiles and/or equipment, and system maintenance.
Essential Functions:
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Conduct regular monitoring of world events through open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and client specific intelligence gathering tools for known and potential threats to employees, company assets and reputation and complete requested reporting.
- Observe, investigate, and report suspicious activities or unusual situations.
- Escalate incidents to security management matters related to employee welfare, global incidents, operational issues, and critical situations.
- Manage badge distribution and meet the client's requests for all badging requests.
- Update employee, contractor, and vendor badge access as directed, while maintaining compliance with company policy.
- Maintain accurate tracking logs of temp/contractor badges that have been signed in and signed out.
- Manage and maintain cardholder profile accuracy, create new access levels and groups, and delete unused access levels and groups to ensure proper maintenance of the system.
- Troubleshoot problems or concerns related to access control equipment, databases, and policies and coordinate problem resolution.
- Track, document, and report progress on projects and initiatives in areas of responsibility.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least two years within a GSOC environment and badging/access control experience. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Working Conditions:
