Job Summary:

The Tactical Intelligence Analyst, assigned to a specific client, is responsible for safeguarding not only physical assets, and upholds operational resilience against complex risks in today's ever-changing threat landscape by using a systematic approach informed by rigorous training standards provided by Pinkertons' extensive network resources.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for the client Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
  3. Monitor open-source platforms and analyze global events including its impact to client assets and business operations.
o Assess risk to client from violent incidents and terrorism threats.
  1. Track and triage all implicit and explicit threats or risks to the client organization and client executives, escalating issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
  2. Articulate key findings extrapolated from sourced data with a focus on executives and executive protection and provide written assessments, formal report writing, and verbal briefings to the client.
  3. Conduct pre and post operational assessments on supply chain impacting events.
  4. Send communications to cross-functional partners and complete safety check activations.
  5. Create operational briefs for leadership, as requested.
  6. Identify new and emerging incidents that may pose a risk to the client's people, users, assets, or reputation.
  7. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree with three to five years of work experience in government and/or corporate intelligence or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Protective intelligence or threat assessment experience is preferred. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer that seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Competencies:

  • Foreign language skills preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of OSINT tools and strategies.
  • Knowledge of BOLO systems and how to track known threats on a continuous basis.
  • Foundational knowledge in structured intelligence analysis.
  • Background in Geospatial Analysis (i.e., ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) preferred.
  • Assess and maintain a variety of situational awareness tools to advise decision makers quickly and accurately on possible courses of action.
  • Effective analytical judgement and ability to identify how geopolitics and international security concerns impact multinational corporations.
  • Able to think critically, and write objectively.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to complete assignments independently at proscribed deadlines.
  • Able to write clear and concise reports.
  • Serve as an effective team player.
  • Able to remain calm and professional within a fast-paced/high-stress situation.
  • Able to build collaborative relationships internally/externally and establish credibility quickly.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and under adverse and stressful conditions.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office & Power Platforms.
