Job Summary:

The GSOC Manager is embedded role with one of our major MNC client. The Regional Program Manager oversees the daily operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) ensuring successful project completion. The GSOC Manager provides analysis on intelligence gathered and serves in leadership capacity as needed.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Provide oversight for quality review and successful project completion.
  3. Serve as the liaison between the client and service provider to ensure the successful completion of all deliverables.
  4. Provide administrative and data entry support.
  5. Track metrics and analyze performance of the GSOC. Ensure proper documentation and record of incidents and events handled by the GSOC.
  6. Conduct constant review of GSOC policies and SOPs together with the client.
  7. Conduct onboarding of new GSOC staff and retraining of current staff.
  8. Aid GSOC leadership in conducting outreach to cross-functional teams, leading to developing and implementing intelligence/security ops solutions.
  9. Contribute to the development of the GSOC by proactively suggesting new services and features to enhance efficiency and client service.
  10. Able to present and defend intelligence positions to various audiences, including staff, representatives, and executive management team members.
  11. Direct the workflow and task assignments/shift roster of the GSOC specialist
  12. Serve as a backup to GSOC specialist if/when required
  13. Provide leadership to existing staff and assist with hiring and training new Specialist.
  14. Provide administrative and data entry support.
  15. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in security studies, Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence, History, Geography or related disciplines. Minimum 4 years of experience in private/public sector intelligence, risk advisory, crisis management or working in a Security Operations Centre setting of which at least 2 years are management experience including developing and implementing processes to assess and mitigate risk. Competencies:

  • Familiar with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools and/or access control and surveillance tools (e.g. CCURE, Everbridge, Genetec etc).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and foster relationships.
  • Familiar with current security issues and security industry trends relating to security risk management and corporate intelligence.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets.
  • Excellent verbal, written in line with intelligence tradecraft standards, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Serve as an effective team leader.
  • Able to build consensus and influence decision-makers.
