Job Summary:

The Security Specialist, assigned to a specific client location, will ensure the security and safety of the facility, property, and personnel. The Specialist is responsible for the related training, procedures/policies, equipment, and reporting.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Hands on knowledge of Project management, security designing, AutoCAD and managing command centre.
  3. He/she defines project timelines and activities in collaboration with stakeholders, and resolves changes in scope, issues and risks that may affect project implementation.
  4. Responsible for delivering superior support to the Security leadership team.
  5. Create project plans and build consensus among diverse sets of stakeholders.
  6. Design standardized processes and Best Practices from initiation to completion in partnership with SMEs, including project scope, documentation, measurements, communication and implementation to global security leaders and teams.
  7. Provides key business partners with information and recommendations to assist in the development and implementation of training resources and plans. Researches and evaluates industry standards and benchmarks to support project (as needed).
  8. Able to effectively prioritize workload demands to meet project deadlines.
  9. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Graduate with ten to fifteen years of experience in security management, investigations, and/or security risk consulting. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Competencies:

  • Demonstrated skill and record of achievement in business-to-business operational activities.
  • Security equipment experience including; CCTV, access control, barriers, intruder/fire alarms, firefighting equipment, GPS monitoring, DFMD, HHMD, and control panels.
  • Knowledge of service industry cost and profitability drivers.
  • Strong customer service and delivery orientation.
  • Able to create and present a strong value proposition.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Self-starter and results driven.
  • Serve as an effective team member and leader.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office, computer network architecture, data transmission, and bandwidth.
