Job Summary:

Reporting into Security Operations Manager, this role will assist with the planning, coordinating, and managing of security for events to include coordination with internal and external personal security details. The Global Event Security Specialist will perform site assessments, advances, coordinating contract security personnel in partnership with production teams, venue security and internal Regional Security Managers, organizing access control as well as arrangements for the senior or high visibility attendees including executives and guests. Budgeting experience is a plus, including being able to scope security resources and staying within a prescribed budget for events and travel.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising complex, medium to large scale security operations for internal and public facing teams.
  3. Travel domestically in support of security operations for events - approximately 40%. Possibility of limited international travel to support regional teams based on the needs of an event.
  4. Develop and maintain positive relationships with domestic and international law enforcement, private sector peers worldwide, and internal/external stakeholders in support of event security projects.
  5. Ability to work flexible schedules to include extended days, evenings, weekends, and travel domestically and internationally, as necessary.
  6. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

BA/BS degree or relevant experience. 3 years' experience managing security for medium to large scale events. Valid driver's license. Experience analysing intelligence and global threat reports to understand risk levels and potential impact to a location, event, or person so that appropriate resources can be sourced and deployed Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.


  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Experience managing security for medium to large global events and conducting physical security assessments & reviews.
  • Creating, planning, and reviewing security operations documents.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
