Job Summary:

The Security Program Manager is located on-site with a specific client, will be responsible for security management, developing, executing, and measuring all security programs. The Security Program Manager will serve as an embedded physical security agent and as a primary subject matter expert and liaison for law enforcement, security regulatory agencies, and vendors. The day-to-day responsibilities of this job include working closely with stakeholder groups to ensure optimum service delivery and efficiencies are achieved. This position will have a hybrid schedule (remote/client locations).

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Perform supervisory duties as necessary.
  3. Establish ongoing communication with senior leadership on the status of security issues, evolving risks, and related recommendations
  4. Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise at the client's campus and/or events;
    • Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner.
  5. Proactively identify process gaps and be comfortable making suggestions for improvement in service and openly participate in team discussions.
  6. Update and implement standards, policies, and procedures for security throughout the normal course of business.
  7. Maintain close coordination, planning, communication, and regular direct liaison with teams around all aspects of the product life cycle of security initiatives.
  8. Accurately and consistently document and communicate changes in processes.
  9. Provide close protection and other security-related functions for the client's campus assignments;
    • Lead counter surveillance operations.
    • Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
    • Respond to emergencies and perform medical operations, as needed.
    • Conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports.
    • Secure the client's campus perimeter;
  10. Complete suspicious activity reports, incident reports. shift logs, pattern of life reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements.
  11. Monitor and stay current with security-related practices and technology.
  12. Drive consistency in process delivery across the team.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Law enforcement, security, and/or military experience and experience working with students and/or in a school setting preferred. Salary & Benefits Information:
Rate of pay: $90000 - $95000 / year.
