Pinkerton, a global provider of risk management services, has relocated its Atlanta office to 1255 Roberts Boulevard, in Kennesaw, GA. Pinkerton East Coast Region Vice President Stephen Ward (pictured left) made the announcement. Pinkerton, which traces its roots to 1850 as Pinkerton’s National Detective Agency, has pioneered some of the most important practices in risk management, such as serving as the forerunner to the U.S. Secret Service and creating the first criminal mugshot database.
Today, the company now offers holistic risk management services such as corporate investigations, risk assessments and consulting, and crisis management and disaster response to Fortune 1000 companies. Pinkerton chose its new centrally located space to expand their presence in the Atlanta region, become closer to its clients and the city’s top-tier talent pool. In addition to serving the Greater Atlanta area, Pinkerton will also oversee operations in much of the southeast, including Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. Thomas Hutchins (pictured right), director of operations, will continue to oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the regional branch.
