Pinkerton, the world’s leading provider of comprehensive risk management services, announced today that it has open an office in Salt Lake City. Pinkerton Vice President, West Coast USA & Mexico Miguel Martinez made the announcement. Pinkerton’s new branch, which will be its first office in Utah, is located at 4021 South 700 East Tower II Building, in downtown Salt Lake City. The branch is one of 33 locations in the United States, and specializes in executive protection, investigations and surveillance, and risk assessment consulting.
Bill Overman, director of operations, will oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the local branch. Overman, who joined Pinkerton in 2013, has more than 15 years of military, emergency medical systems and security experience, including service as a U.S. Marine. He has extensive experience managing executive protection programs and employment risk assessments including workplace violence and loss prevention. “Salt Lake City offers excellent connectivity to every major northern city in the country, and central location to the Salt Lake Valley,” said Martinez. “Overman and his team will serve as an integral spoke in Pinkerton’s interconnected, global network of security resources and intelligence.”
