New Orleans’ businesses should implement emergency contingency plans for Tropical Storm Barry.

The Mississippi River is already 6-8 feet higher than normal for this time of year while Tropical Storm Barry heads inland. We recommend that businesses operating in New Orleans with cargo interests or facilities at the Port of New Orleans should consider implementing their critical emergency contingency plans now on CNBC’s Rapid Fire.
