Employee safety and business continuity are top concerns for companies as protests continue.

Hong Kong businesses are facing continuity and employee safety issues during the current protests which are creating regional instability. Grant Strudwick, Pinkerton AMEA Vice President, spoke with CNBC about the ongoing protests and what businesses should be doing in response. He recommends the following:

  • Clarify the guidelines around employees’ participation in the protests
  • Review social media policies to reduce liability
  • Have lock-down procedures and contingency plans in place
