Job Summary:
The Investigation Specialist (Asia) coordinates the service delivery of our investigation projects across Asia and supports the Senior Operations Manager with management, administrative and compliance oversight.The Investigation Specialist (Asia) ensures the highest quality in execution and maintenance of internal investigation standards. The Investigation Specialist (Asia) develops and aligns investigation standards with regulation and best practices, and collaborates with partners and vendors to conduct investigation projects, tests, business and performance reviews etc.
Essential Functions:
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Participates in decision-making and recommendations regarding the remediation of internal investigations and follow-up actions; reports on investigations to compliance and business leaders.
- Ensure all projects and services (including non-investigation related ones) in Taiwan are conducted in a timely and professional manner and aligned with Pinkerton's Service Delivery Standards.
- Assist the Manager with on-going client service calls.
- Address client questions and/or concerns quickly and effectively.
- Communicate employee performance concerns and/or status updates to the Manager.
- Serve as the point of contact in support of clients' ongoing projects.
- Perform various investigative, security consultative, and protection projects as assigned by the Operations Manager(s).
- Assist with general administrative and operational functions.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred with at least one to three years of investigation, enterprise risk management, security operations experience or IT/business management/forensic accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Competencies:
- Good analytical skills in interpreting situations/reports. Good knowledge in IT will be an added advantage.
- Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of the Mandarin language (read/write/speak) as well as English fluency to work with our stakeholders, vendors and clients in Taiwan.
- Project management or vendor management experience.
- Meticulous and professional in stakeholder engagement; excellent communication skills are appreciated.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with pace, ambiguity and confidentiality that comes with the nature of our business.
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
- Investigation, Enterprise Risk and/or Security operations experience. It is preferred if the candidate possess the PLRD Private Investigator License.
- An ideal candidate would be passionate about security risk management, investigations, security consulting, intellectual property management, crisis management and protection operations, and being a part of a premier global risk management firm.
- Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
