Job Summary:
The Security Risk Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will play a critical role in supporting the organization's global risk management efforts. The Manager delivers and/or supports a wide range of risk management activities to drive security, operational, and third-party risk management outcomes while also collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices are developed and maintained.
Essential Functions:
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Deliver a comprehensive global risk program strategy in alignment with Corporate Security's business objectives.
- Drive consistent program performance in relation to formal business and program metrics and targets.
- Under the direction of the Program Manager- Risk Management, assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's risk framework to ensure it is up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.
- Partner with internal stakeholders regarding the appropriate application of the risk framework and provide guidance/support to ensure its effective utilization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed or align risk management principles relating to business processes and decision-making.
- Deliver effective risk assessment solutions that adequately address Corporate Security's complex operating environment.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across the organization and identify and analyze potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and business units to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies including the creation of risk mitigation plans and monitoring mechanisms.
- Regularly analyze, review with Program Manager, and update risk assessments to adapt to changing business conditions and external factors.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations on the status of the global risk program to leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist internal customers seeking guidance on risk-related matters and provide timely and accurate information.
- Stay current with relevant industry regulations and standards related to risk management and ensure that the organization's risk practices and processes comply with all applicable requirements.
- Continuously review, suggest improvements, and implement best practices to manage security, operational, and third-party risks more efficiently and effectively.
- Lead and manage a team of embedded Risk Specialists/Analysts and provide guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, share knowledge, and risk-related training to team members.
- Support Risk Management Program and Corporate Security projects as a risk management SME.
- Propose, scope, and manage projects related to the continuous improvement of risk management practices, processes, and tools.
- Provide concise, detailed reports and technical analysis to customers, based on concrete evidence and verified datasets.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in security or risk management with five years of domain experience in enterprise, security, or operational risk management within a regional or global corporate environment.
