Job Summary:

The Executive Protection Driver, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will provide for the welfare, physical protection, and security of a client by performing executive protection and/or transportation assignments.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Provide safe and secure vehicle transportation to C-Level executives.
  3. Receive and/or prepare appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of executives.
  4. Complete route planning/reconnaissance and mobile security and consult maps and/or navigation devices for desired routes.
  5. Advise the executive passengers of potential delays due to traffic or construction and adjust route, when possible, to meet arrival times.
  6. Provide close protection and other security-related functions for the client, as needed.
  7. Lead counter surveillance operations.
  8. Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
  9. Effectively manage the client and/or their family/representative requests against the need to ensure all safety and security precautions.
  10. Respond to emergencies and perform medical operations, as needed.
  11. Serve as liaison with internal and external customers, office staff, and the public.
  12. Coordinate vehicle record, maintenance logs, and daily activity reports.
  13. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of executive protection and security driving experience. Current CA Guard Card and CCW or HR218 are required. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

  • Emergency vehicle operations course completion and defensive driving certification, preferred.
  • Able to follow operation plans and manage trip requirements with little or no supervision.

  • Able to use good judgment and act in a decisive manner in emergency situations.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.

Salary & Benefits Information:
Rate of pay: $45 /hour.
