Job Summary:

The Regional Assurance Manager will oversee and support the client's global assurance efforts and lead projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. The Manager collaborates with colleagues, security teams, business stakeholders, prepares comprehensive project planning, resource management, task coordination and maintains project documentation and data. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote) and can be located in Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Manage and coordinate regional goals and activities in conjunction with sound assurance and personnel management concepts.
  3. Supervise contracted vendors and resources within assigned region.
  4. Plan, coordinate and direct the work of others in discharging the company assurance mission.
  5. Serve as the primary resource for Assurance issues within the assigned region.
  6. Conduct and ensure quality of assurance assessments and preparation of reports in the region.
  7. Develop and manage all team-related training programs for the region.
  8. Develop and establish regional processes and procedures.
  9. Provide advice and counsel to regional and area security managers on matters relating to inspection, testing, assessment and validation.
  10. Comply with all applicable laws, statutes, or standards from regulatory and accrediting agencies within the region.
  11. Maintain good working relations with external and internal customers within the region.
  12. Adhere to and apply all aspects of assurance and validation protocols in a consistent manner.
  13. Identify and define objectives, strategies, and priorities relating to assurance and validation matters for the region.
  14. Initiate and facilitate changes to improve regional services through effective communication, collaboration, and interdisciplinary problem solving.
  15. Perform assigned tasks within assigned deadlines and requirements, including oversight of all incoming and out-going project documentation.
  16. Ensure audits and remote tests are closed out and submitted to corporate security on time.
  17. Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to manager.
  18. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  19. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred, with five or more years of managerial experience in corporate or government security organizations, military force protection or asset protection programs, or other relevant work experience such as risk, assurance, compliance and/or governance.   • Lean Six Sigma certification, preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and quality assurance controls including the implementation of strategies, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of current and emerging security technology, document control, and physical security.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as within a regional team member.
  • Self-motivated and committed to identifying and recommending process improvements.
  • Adaptable to a fast paced, high demand, and dynamic work environment.

  • Responsive and responsible attitude.

  • Computer skill; Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Visio and SharePoint.

Salary & Benefits Information:
Rate of pay: $115000 - $120000 / year.
