Job Summary:

The IT Procurement Analyst will provide support to the IT team in sourcing, onboarding, and managing Pinkerton's software and hardware vendors. The role will involve various activities such as sourcing analysis, order management, and approval handling.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors for IT hardware and software purchases.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and specifications for IT procurement needs.
  4. Evaluate vendors' proposals and negotiate terms and pricing to achieve cost savings.
  5. Create purchase orders and manage orders through the procurement process to ensure timely delivery.
  6. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure quality of products and services.
  7. Monitor and report on vendor performance, including delivery times, quality of products, and adherence to contract terms.
  8. Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and documentation.
  9. Monitor and maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  10. Provide guidance and support to end-users to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  11. Audit vendor pricing and charges on billed invoices to quantify and report potential savings opportunities.
  12. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in purchasing & sourcing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
