Job Summary:

The Business Protection Manager is an embedded opportunity with one of our global tech clients. The Manager will work with the client's corporate security team providing security services to protect its staff and offices, including but not limited to guard force operations, physical security, corporate security policies, programs, and training. The corporate security team consists of operations and global specialist support functions.The role will have a 40-60 split between the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region and the rest of EMEA; frequent travel is expected. This position can be based anywhere (remote) within Europe.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Establish and maintain a close and collaborative working relationship with multiple teams within the GWS and internal and external stakeholders
  3. Implements security strategy for operations throughout the SSA and EMEA regions ensuring alignment with global regional strategy, sector, and regional business needs. Ensuring effective deployment of the strategy, working through site leadership and security teams
  4. Develop and operationalize Standard Operating Procedures to continuously improve and refine security management in the organization in line with Business Protection Policies.
  5. Ensures effective delivery of technical and physical security contracts in support of business operations in SSA and EMEA.
  6. Responsibility for ensuring efficiencies are identified and value is continuously delivered to reduce security risk at sites.
  7. Supports delivery of new security programs for major change programmes or new build operations.
  8. Responsible for ensuring that security measures and controls outlined in the BPT Global Security Standards are maintained and delivered by internal and external stakeholders
  9. Maintain a close working relationship with site leadership teams, offering business partnering and security support to develop cost effective, commercially focused security options.
  10. Manage and create new working relationships with security vendors and contractors
  11. Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology
  12. Manage budget and PO's for all security-related items
  13. Manage and support the wider teams with incidents
  14. Support the other Business Protection Managers when required
  15. Support global security initiatives and programs as requested
  16. Provide safety and security education and training for staff, both within GWS and to the wider audience
  17. Customize Critical Incident Plans for each major regional office
  18. Conduct physical security plans reviews annually
  19. Conduct office security reviews yearly
  20. Manage the execution of security upgrade projects.
  21. Manage security officers and the site security supervisors in a firm,fair and friendly manner
  22. Manage access control systems
  23. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in intelligence analysis, political science, international relations, journalism, or other relevant areas. Minimum three years of experience in intelligence, incident management, crisis management, and/or risk management.
