Job Summary:

The Loss Prevention Advisor (LPA) is responsible for providing operational support and advice to the Regional Security Management concerning the strategic and tactical application of Loss Prevention for all personnel and infrastructure. The LPA is responsible for working directly with the client and other vendors/employees to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote).

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Assist in the evaluation, development, and execution of regional site security strategies.
  3. Oversee and support all agents/vendors ensuring they consistently meet/exceed project contracts and deadlines.
  4. Conduct site visits, as directed by the Regional Security Management to ensure the quality of;
    • Site security survey plans.
    • Security assessments.
    • Site specific risk/threat analysis.
    • LP training awareness programs.
  5. Assist with corporate governance involving any LP related activities to stakeholders.
  6. Provide operational support and advice in relation to;
    • Production quality to ensure the standards of service delivery, reporting, and budgetary objectives meet or exceed expectations.
    • Implementation of contingency plans, for the immediate resolution of strategic and tactical applications for regional security standards, policy and procedures.
    • Security threats and emergency and contingency planning for stakeholders, executives, and employees.
    • Ensure compliance with the client's policies regarding vetting of individuals, teams, and vendors.
    • Risk/threat assessments and making recommendations to support the strategic aims at the regional level.
  7. Serve as the subject matter expert regarding LP operations with the ability of supporting operational security related investigations as required.
  8. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree with two or more years of experience as a security advisor in corporate, public, or private organization's security department. CPP, PSP or LPC certifications preferred.   • Comprehensive security experience within a multi-site environment, in all phases of security, systems, procedures, investigations, legal issues, supervision and training.
  • Knowledge of physical/operational security techniques.
  • Experience in directing security activities at multiple geographic locations.
  • Experience with internal security policies, procedures, and strategy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management, security technologies, and processes.
  • Experience in coordinating with vendors, contractors, and law enforcement.
  • Serve as an effective team leader.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Understanding of varied country practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Consistently delivers on commitments and achieves expected business results.
  • Able to analyze complex situations and recommend solutions.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
