Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handles all incoming inquiries to the Global Security communication center. Inquiries come from a wide range of customer in various form such as telephone call, email, or an instant message and usually centered on physical security needs, but occasionally require redirection to the appropriate business unit. The Customer Service Representative will determine whether the inquiry is emergent or non-emergent and triage accordingly.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Monitor and answer all incoming calls and emails in accordance with Global security standard.
  3. Work with management team to stay updated on procedural knowledge and be informed of any changes in therein.
  4. Provide administrative support including scheduling, preparing or editing documents.
  5. Work and communicate continually with shift managers.
  6. Maintains control of sensitive security material and items located within the office as dictated by procedures
  7. Authors outgoing communication to various business groups.
  8. Receives and reports lost and found items as directed.
  9. Provide procedural review.
  10. Serve as a resource to the GSCC during emergencies or crisis situations
  11. Asist the GSCC manager in developing and/ or updating all policies and procedures.
  12. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:
