Job Summary:

The Travel Risk Advisor is responsible for supporting the client's travel risk management program by leveraging various intelligence tools and implementing mitigation plans to reduce risk. The Advisor will provide environmental monitoring of global incidents for awareness and engage with partner groups to take appropriate action against threats that may impact the wellbeing and productivity of the client's personnel and operations. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (remote/client locations).

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Perform ongoing environmental monitoring of global incidents for awareness and engagement with partner groups;
    • Take action against threats that may impact the wellbeing and productivity of the client's personnel and operations.
    • Optimize global environmental monitoring and response documentation.
  3. Support the client's travel risk management effort by leveraging various intelligence tools.
  4. Implement and complete day-to-day administration of a preventative, proactive program that ensures appropriate mitigation plans, such as security, communication, and accountability, are in place to reduce risk and minimize potential impact when emergency or crisis events arise.
  5. Proactively identify and monitor risk situations and assess impact to the client's corporate travelers, offices, and operations, in accordance with escalation actions and mitigation strategies;
    • Publish travel alerts for corporate travelers.
    • Provide guidance in response to evolving situations for security assistance globally.
  6. Partner with internal and external groups to support and coordinate the client's response to crisis events.
  7. Generate custom itinerary-specific virtual advances that include options for consideration to mitigate risk, and provide contingency and emergency plans ready for use, if necessary.
  8. Assist in arranging for local security support, as needed.
  9. Send alert communications using prescribed systems and templates.
  10. Support team response during cross-functional coordination conference bridges.
  11. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in risk, political science, international studies, or a related field, and at least two years of related professional experience in security, crisis management, public administration, or public safety.

  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office, Service Now, Adobe, Jira, and SharePoint.
