Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support Pinkerton's Global Investigations Unit through project planning and coordination to meet commitments. The APM, along with the Project Manager, will determine requirements, establish priorities, monitor progress, and provide solutions for project related issues.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Support the department through project management assistance:
    • Case management platform data entry, metrics compilations, monitor progress and costs, project file maintenance, staff coordination and other assistance functions to meet time commitments and within resource limitations.
  3. Provide support for vendor management.
    • Vendor management platform data entry, metrics compilations, monitor progress and costs, administrative coordination and troubleshooting with vendors.
  4. Provide quality control reviews for department.
    • Assist Production team with product template development, maintenance, version control, file storage management, etc.
    • Work with Marketing team to maintain proper branding of all departmental products, collateral, etc.
    • Assist department commitments with the Center of Excellence through documentation distribution, storage control, and maintenance.
    • Assist Production team with collateral and actual product peer review, for conformity to style guide and American English grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.
  5. Meet regularly with PM and department leadership to provide updates:
    • Provide periodic KPI's and metrics;
    • Advise of any actual or potential issues and make changes, as instructed;
    • Provide recommendations, to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
  6. Escalate any urgent issues, and support in resolving if necessary.
  7. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field with three to five years of corporate project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
