Job Summary:

The Security Coordinator will be responsible for providing operational support in the application of physical security operations within multiple client sites; ensuring a safe working environment and supporting the organization with its aims and objectives.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Provide guidance and direction in the application of physical security operations at multiple client sites;
    • Ensure a safe working environment, supporting the organization with its core business functions, strategies, and policies of the client's Global Security department.
  3. Provide input in the evaluation, development, and implementation of regional site security strategies.
  4. As and when required, oversee and support all security related vendors and agents.
  5. Provide guidance on the implementation of site security plans.
  6. Under direction, undertake security assessments, site specific risk/threat analysis & training awareness programs.
  7. Under direction, liaise with government and private sector agencies to enhance security operations.
  8. Provide operational support to the Regional Security Manager in contingency planning, conducting risk/threat assessments, and the maintenance of effective networks across all business groups.
  9. Provide support in the implementation of response to intelligence for the protection against high security threats, emergencies and contingencies.
  10. Preserve the business infrastructure at local and regional level in implementing and supporting strategic aims of the business.
  11. Provide multi-level communication between the business units in cooperation with individuals, teams & vendors.
  12. Conduct periodic review sessions to achieve quality service delivery provision by suppliers and vendors.
  13. Support in the development of security policies, guidelines and processes as directed by the Regional Security Manager.
  14. As directed, provide operational support and, where needed, response to security incidents and emergencies.
  15. Support development for internal and external service optimization.
  16. Provide operational support to the Regional Security Manager during incidents and emergencies and act as Global Security representative in the initial stages of emergencies/incidents.
  17. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

High School Diploma with at least three years of law enforcement, military, security consulting, and/or security site management experience. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Working Conditions:
