Job Summary:

The Program Specialist, assigned to a specific client, is responsible for identifying security and business needs and making appropriate recommendations based on the collection and review of activity data. The Specialist will complete specialized research, analysis, and project-related administrative tasks. In addition, the Specialist role will leverage various technology applications to efficiently modernize standard security work processes. This position can be based anywhere (remote) within the United States.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Assist in the collection of activity data to analyze, document, and effectively utilize and improve resources.
  3. Provide logistical support services to the team.
  4. Perform non-routine research and security application troubleshooting.
  5. Prepare and present project summaries and achievement reports.
  6. Assist with security and emergency management-related administrative tasks;
    • Complete data entry tasks and update metric reporting.
    • Create and update reporting templates, workflow models, and spreadsheets.
    • Maintain records and assist team members in retrieving department information for projects.
    • Update and maintain sensitive contact information and numerous confidential lists.
  7. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Associate degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, emergency management, statistical analysis, or related field or a bachelor's degree in any general science, research, social studies, or cultural studies degree. One to three years of work experience in national security, criminal intelligence analysis, or emergency management. Case management database experience preferred.


  • Able to research, evaluate, and integrate all-source data using the principles, concepts, and methodologies of all-source intelligence analysis.
