Job Summary:

The Security Driver provides vehicle transportation, to and from designated destinations, for C-Level Executives.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Provide safe and secure vehicle transportation, to and from designated destinations, for C-Level Executives.
  3. Receive and/or prepare appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of Executives.
  4. Consult maps and/or navigation devices for desired routes.
  5. Advise the Executive passengers of potential delays due to traffic or construction; adjust route when possible to meet arrival time.
  6. Coordinate vehicle record, maintenance logs, and daily activity reports.
  7. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED with two to four years of security driving experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Defensive driving certification, a plus. Law enforcement or military experience preferred. California EMT Certification, California guard license, CA exposed carry permit, and CCW and/or HR218 required.

  • Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Regular computer usage.
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or customers.
  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
  • Travel, as required.
