Job Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager manages the workflow and process for all marketing projects. The Manager must understand project strategy, and will track priorities, review resource allocations, monitor milestones, provide status updates, and help track deliverables. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote).

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Manage multifaceted enterprise-level projects through project management system for the full lifecycle process including; research, strategy, intake, timeline development, on-going status updates, and execution;
    • Assist in defining project requirements and collaborate with Creative team on attainable deliverables.
    • Review resource allocation and recommend changes, if necessary.
    • Monitor project scope and schedule.
    • Lead planning and project kick off meetings.
  3. Proactively identify actual or potential issues, variances, and/or risks;
    • Identify and evaluate alternative solutions, with the assistance of stakeholders and Marketing team to best meet project goals.
  4. Meet regularly with the Marketing Director for status updates;
    • Address any actual or potential issues and make changes, as needed.
    • Provide support during project roll-out.
  5. Ongoing optimization of project management processes and SLAs.
  6. Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive collaboration while providing project tracking, work direction, and feedback.
  7. Communicate directly with stakeholders, vendors, and Creative team regarding project details, status, and pertinent information.
  8. Ensure all conditions are in place for the successful deployment and delivery of expected outcomes.
  9. Develop and catalogue lessons learned and implement improvement actions, if necessary.
  10. Introduce industry best practices and streamline project management processes.
  11. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of corporate-level project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.


  • Experience with Asana or similar project management systems, preferred.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of agile project management preferred.
  • Able to manage and track multiple projects and large-scale tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Able to lead projects through areas of ambiguity.
  • Effective, collaborative, and inclusive interaction at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultures.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Serve as a positive and effective team leader.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office and project management software.
