Job Summary:

The Recruiter will be responsible for high-volume recruiting and new hire processing for Pinkerton's West region. The Recruiter builds strong partnerships with field management to understand their client-specific Pinkerton Dedicated Professional (PDP) recruiting needs. The Recruiter will partner with Pinkerton's Talent Acquisition team to understand and implement global standards. This role manages all aspects of the recruitment process for the assigned region and requisitions including job description creation, job postings, sourcing, candidate review, phone screens, offer letter processing, background screenings, and other compliance-related functions. This position can be based anywhere (remote) within the Western region of the United States, preferably California. The chosen candidate must currently reside within the area.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with field management to understand their recruitment needs and challenges.
  3. Create job descriptions in accordance with Pinkerton's Talent Acquisition standards.
  4. Partner with hiring managers to develop interview questions to effectively assess each candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  5. Open requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and proactively manage them throughout the recruitment process.
    • Post positions to a variety of job boards to ensure a solid talent pipeline.
    • Search for active and passive candidates for critical roles via LinkedIn or other candidate databases.
    • Review candidates and conduct phone screens.
    • Participate in virtual and/or in-person career fairs.
  6. Initiate and complete new hire processes;
    • Process employment offers.
    • Initiate new hire candidate background screenings, approve standard results and/or seek review by the HR Director.
    • Complete I-9s and other compliance-related tasks.
  7. Effectively communicate status updates and address questions/concerns with hiring managers and new hire candidates.
  8. Assist with the completion of weekly and ad hoc recruiting reports.
  9. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management with three to five years of high volume recruiting within a multinational organization or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Salary & Benefits Information:
Rate of pay: $80000 - $85000 / year.
