Job Summary:

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Lead Threat Analyst will be responsible for investigating, analysing, interpreting, and communicating information from a variety of sources. The Analyst will support the Senior Manager of the GSOC in the identification and assessment of risks and threats, social media monitoring, situational and domain awareness, and risk profile analysis.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Interface between the GSOC and Intelligence and Investigations team on tactical intelligence alerting, threat tiering, and baseline threat investigations;
    • Provide support to the Manager of Intelligence and Investigations.
    • Produce and disseminate high-quality, tactical intelligence alerts to senior Global Security and Safety (GSPS) leadership.
    • Conduct preliminary tiering and baseline investigations of threats of violence, self-harm, etc. reported both internally and externally (i.e. social media, etc.).
    • Develop processes and trainings to enhance GSOC capabilities around threat analysis, investigations, analytical writing, critical thinking, social media monitoring, and other key skillsets.
  3. Build and maintain key relationships with site level security and facilities stakeholders, coordinate with Global Protective Services team on development of processes and templates for guard force reporting around threats and concerning behaviors;
    • Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders at peer companies to enable timely alerting and benchmarking around incidents in coordination with the GSOC Senior Manager.
    • Assist with onboarding and training for GSOC team and physical security stakeholders on new enterprise-wide case management system.
  4. Assist with onboarding new intelligence and investigations tools and develop associated GSOC protocols in collaboration with GSOC Manager and GSOC Senior Manager.
  5. Establish and improve templates for intelligence alerts, travel security messaging, incident reports, etc. as well as associated processes, workflows, and escalation trees.
  6. Monitor physical security systems such as CCTV and Access Control, and coordinate with guard force and GSPS leadership on incident response and escalations.
  7. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree with at least three years of GSOC, threat or intelligence analysis experience specializing in investigations and intelligence collection.
