Job Summary:

The Security Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing the client's day-to-day physical security operations in Hong Kong. The Coordinator ensures that Site Leads and security teams deliver services effectively in adherence to the Global Security Standards and meet the expectations set by the regional leadership.The role also supports Global Security in all operational issues including the preparation and execution of responses to emergency and crisis situations that occur within the region.

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Serve as the lead coordinator for all physical security responses;
    • Collaborate with the GSOC and security leadership team to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact the client's Hong Kong operations.
  3. Support the regional security leadership team regarding the communication and dissemination of information to key partners.
  4. Assist with position-related projects at varying levels of involvement from consulting to complete project management/oversight.
  5. Review and update existing security-related documentation on a routine basis;
    • Identify areas of improvement and align procedures with global standards.
  6. Work with the APAC security team to anticipate, identify, and evaluate emerging risks and develop/update operational procedures.
  7. Routinely measure and assess the proficiency and effectiveness of physical security staff to ensure the achievement of the client's service deliver expectations.
  8. Interview, select, and train security personnel.
  9. Collaborate with internal partners on strategically aligned initiatives or projects
  10. Support security team programs and training courses to enhance operational skills and service delivery outcomes.
  11. Assist other Coordinators in conducting training courses and drills to ensure procedures, escalation guidelines, and personnel competency are tested/reviewed;
    • Assist with the collection of training and performance data to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Regularly communicate with Global Security on operational challenges, ideas, and initiatives.
  13. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Advanced Level Exams with at least years of security operations or other relevant experience and a minimum three years of supervisory experience.
