Job Summary:

The Technical Project Coordinator (TPC) will be first tier in the technical support backbone of ACS operations centers. The Technical Project Coordinator will manage the issuance of computers and other equipment, track available inventory at the operations center location, and perform system updates and refreshes of equipment where necessary. The Technical Project Coordinator work directly with operators, leads, supervisors, and management to diagnose technical problems.  

Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Manage the inventory of computer assets at the operations center.
  3. Oversee updates, issuance, returns, and troubleshooting.
  4. Document all issuance or maintenance of equipment.
  5. Manage user accounts for all users at the operations center.
  6. Create and maintain technical documentation where required.
  7. Provide training on technical equipment when necessary.
  8. Perform audits of user accounts, validate permissions, etc.
  9. Set up and maintain workstations at the operations center.
  10. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Graduate with one-two years of experience in inventory and troubleshooting technical issuance.  

Competencies:

  • Experience managing workload in ticketing system.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and fluently in English (both written and verbal)
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
  • Travel, as required.
