Pinkerton has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who will serve as an intelligence analyst, in the Control Center for a specific client and their staff, on all intelligence matters including intelligence processes, support requirements, technical aspects, and operational methods.

Essential Functions

In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.The Essential Functions Include:

1.Responds in a timely manner to requests for intelligence information; correlates intelligence and contextual data of cases with data used in preparing briefing materials, presenting briefings, and drafting information papers/articles on intelligence issues.

2.Reviews and verifies information and Intelligence Reports, Alert Notices, Crime Prevention Surveys, and other reports as required; disseminates data via reports or other analytical products, to appropriate client staff members.

3.Provides advice, counsel, and provides recommendations with appropriate response(s) based upon a through and accurate analysis to supervisors, and other Intelligence Coordinators, who have an interest in specific cases.

4.Assesses and maintains a variety of situational awareness tools, to quickly and accurately advise decision-makers on possible courses of action.

5.Reviews and utilizes diagnostic tools and technology to develop complex data compilations.

6.Researches, evaluates, integrates, and analyzes all-source data in the preparation and presentation of clear, concise, in-depth intelligence analytical products; focusing on threats to operations (e.g., research and development; production; delivery systems; doctrine; and capabilities) prepared in response to collection tasking and other requirements.

7.Provides in-depth research and analysis of the Personal Protection situation for designated personnel; worldwide.

8.May represent the organization in the preparation, presentation and defensive of positions and recommendations at conferences, in working groups, and planning sessions.

9.Directly supports travel protection initiatives through preparation of location threat briefs, and performs other duties as assigned.

10.Carries out all duties in an honest and ethical manner, while maintaining client confidentiality.

11.Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills as a professional representative of the company to protect the interests of our client.

Minimum Hiring Standards


Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

•Must be at least 18 years of age.

•Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).

•Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).

•Must have the legal right to work in Colombia.

•Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

•Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Education/Experience


Bachelor degree and 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.Based on client needs; experience, education, or training must demonstrate administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work, which requires the ability to deal effectively with others in order to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts and employ multi-disciplinary analysis with and without systems support. Training and experience in Microsoft Office products, which are used to prepare clear and concise reports. Experience or training in developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations.

•Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

•Capable of developing and recommendation of policy and initiatives appropriate to meet client needs.

•Ability to organize and implement various client specific programs in the most efficient and effective manner meeting all deliverables and deadlines.

•Evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations.

•Demonstrated analytical expertise and time/stress management skills to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product. This requires a strong ability to identify and solve complex problems and carrying out responsibilities with little or no supervision, at times under adverse and stressful conditions.

•Must maintain the ability to present and defend intelligence positions to a variety of audiences, including staff, representatives, and members of the Board.

•Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers.

•Strong client and results orientation.

•Ability to quickly adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.

•Must possess strong interpersonal, communication skills along with a heighten awareness of client needs.

•Ability to be a positive and effective team member.

•Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

•Computer usage including data entry and/or viewing computer monitor screen for prolonged periods.
