JOB SUMMARY:  The Accounting Analyst will evaluate and interpret financial accounting principles and statements including balance, revenue and cash flow. The Analyst is responsible for performing financial planning and analysis, consolidation and forecasts and budgets and financial statement preparation.

The Essential Functions Include:
  1. Represent Pinkerton core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Evaluate and interpret financial accounting principles and participate in preparation of financial statements.
  3. Analyze and monitor various transactions and accounting subledgers.
  4. Prepare required analysis and reports.
  5. Deliver monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  6. Execute banking transactions and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  7. Record and track fixed assets, record depreciation, and account for the disposition of fixed assets.
  8. Prepare and file tax returns for sales and use tax and property tax.
  9. Interpret and implement new accounting systems and procedures for assigned areas.
  10. Contribute to the process improvements throughout the department.
  11. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
  12. All other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Standards


Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background investigation.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Education/Experience


Bachelor degree in Accounting and at least two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Must have CPA License or CPA Candidate.
