JOB SUMMARY:  The Director of Global & National Sales will collaborate with Pinkerton Executive leadership, Managing Directors and Directors to enhance Pinkerton's sales efforts to capture new business from both existing and prospective clients and help direct sales strategy. This position will be located in the United States in any major metropolitan area.

The Essential Functions Include:
  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Develop a strategy to enhance and develop sales strategies by fulling understanding Pinkerton's position in different markets.
  3. Develop and implement operational strategies that enable the company to optimize operations, scale, mitigate potential risk, and execute on its vision.
  4. Serve as an internal sales consultant for Pinkerton Directors, Managing Directors, and senior management, ensuring connectivity among corporate, the different regions and business units.
  5. Guide the implementation of best practices as well as corporate, field, and total quality management initiatives.
  6. Contribute in expanding upon current capabilities to improve existing services, leveraging both internal and external resources.
  7. Participate in business development activities, as directed.
  8. Guide or develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualities (RFQs), as needed.
  9. Develop and negotiate client contracts as directed by the Senior Vice President.
  10. Meet regularly with new clients to assess level of customer satisfaction; develop a list of strong referrals.
  11. Participate in client business reviews, as directed.
  12. All other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Standards


Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background investigation.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Education/Experience

:
Advanced degree preferred with a minimum ten years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

  • Business-to-business selling experience within a consulting environment, professional services, intelligence, or legal industries.
  • Strong understanding of corporate risk management.
  • Persuasive oral and written communications including executive-level presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated sales and business development skills.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
