JOB SUMMARY:  The Security Manager is responsible for providing guidance and recommendationsregarding site- specific security concerns. TheManager will identify areas of improvements and capabilities which can be implemented to enhance physical and personal security.

The Essential Functions Include:
  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Ensure that all security systems and devices including alarms, video, locks,and door hardwareare properly functional and requests service, as needed;
    1. Specify and orderneeded security devices at assigned sites.
    2. Plan and overseesecurity device installations and repairs.
  3. Identifyimprovements and capabilities that can be implemented to enhance physical and personnel security.
  4. Actindependently, when appropriate, to mitigate physical and personnel-related security issues.
  5. Conductinvestigations into basic and complex security issues.
  6. Actas “eyes and ears on the ground” for the Regional Security Manager- India.
  7. Respondto alarms and alerts from the Business Assurance Centeror other emergencies.
  8. Provideadvice, guidance, and decision making assistance to business partners (such as Legal and Human Resources) around sensitive topics such as employee disputes and sensitive terminations.
  9. Overseethe day to day implementation of corporate security initiatives.
  10. Providecorporate security training and leadership to all staff.
  11. Assistthe Regional Security Manager in the development of security policies and initiatives.
  12. Developand compile post orders to ensure the security posture of assigned sites.
  13. Coordinate with the HR and legal team during investigations and ensure that the site is in compliance with corporate security policies.
  14. Coordinatewith SR2 regarding corporate security audits and active participation during incident investigations.
  15. Ensure that adequate training is provided for the security personneland complete security system analysis.
  16. Coordinate with the security vendor and ensure that the procedures are followed as per the standard policies.
  17. Complete maintenance of access control systems and CCTV.
  18. Provide security escort guards for female employees as per the company's policy.
  19. Monitor the movement of vendor staff entering and exiting the facility;
    1. Complete physical pat-downs, per policy.
  20. Coordinate thesecurity perspective during the company's official visits, parties, and other events.
  21. Ensure the proper process is followed during NHO sessions.
  22. Perform quarterly audits as per the policy.
  23. Conduct fire evacuation drills as per the policy.
  24. All other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Standards

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

  • Must be a Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug testing and background investigation.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the legal right to work in India.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.


Graduate with seven to twelve years of security management experience. Must be a commissioned officer within Indian Defense Services.


  • Security management experience including practices and programs.
  • Strong project management skills.
