Combines a distinguished career as an officer in the Australian Army with over 15 years of senior operational risk roles and resilience consulting across the Americas, Europe and Asia PacificHas guided corporate crisis teams through a range of serious events including malicious product extortion, illegal detention, cyber-crime, corruption scandals and natural disasters
After leaving the Australian Army at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Grant led the Sydney based Crisis and Security Consulting practice for a global business risks company. His tasks included business continuity planning, security risk assessments. event security, crisis management planning and response, and kidnap management training.
In 2011 Grant moved to London to head the global operations for the travel security arm of the company where he managed several crisis deployments and country evacuations including Egypt, Mali, Algeria, South Sudan, Burkina Faso, Nepal, and Ebola ravaged West Africa.
In 2014 Grant moved to Singapore to lead the Asia Pacific region for the same company where he established a new regional delivery team comprising operational and information analysts from Japan, Korea, China, Myanmar, Singapore, India, Philippines and Indonesia.
Moving to Pinkerton in 2016, he has overseen the establishments of major risk management projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Japan; supported clients during violent protests in Hong Kong; and assisted clients across the region with their COVID-19 response and management.
